Ask Claude for your Human Design, and a bodygraph draws itself.

Give your assistant a birth date and time and it reaches for the real chart — Type, Strategy, Authority, every defined center and channel — and renders your bodygraph right in the conversation, computed instead of made up.

Draw the Human Design bodygraph for Carl Jung — 26 July 1875, Kesswil.

explore_human_design1.4s
Human Design bodygraph for Carl Jung, born 26 July 1875 — rendered by the OpenEphemeris API

Here's the bodygraph. The defined centers and channels are drawn straight from the computed Personality and Design activations. Want me to read today's transits over it next?

Connect Claude in ~30 seconds

A remote MCP connector — no download, no API key. OAuth handles sign-in and creates your account on first connect.

  1. 1Click "Add to Claude" above — it copies the URL and opens Claude → Settings → Connectors.
  2. 2Click "Add custom connector", then paste the URL into the URL field (Ctrl/⌘+V).
  3. 3Leave the OAuth Client ID and Secret blank and click "Add". Approve the sign-in popup — that also creates your free OpenEphemeris account.

Custom connectors require a paid Claude plan (Pro or higher). On the Claude desktop app and Claude Code, all plans work.

Custom connectors on Claude.ai require a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise). On the free plan, use Claude Desktop with the config below.

OpenEphemeris connected in Claude: a chart is asked for in plain language, Claude calls the tool, and a real computed chart renders in the conversation — Human Design bodygraphs draw the same way

The same one-call flow, shown here drawing a natal chart — a Human Design bodygraph renders exactly the same way.

Say it plainly. It draws the rest.

You ask in your own words. Claude picks the right Human Design tool, sends the right parameters, and answers from computed data.

A real bodygraph, not a description

Claude calls a typed tool against the NASA JPL DE440 kernel and an SVG bodygraph renders in the conversation — defined centers, active gates, and channels, computed, not guessed.

Both charts, done for you

Human Design needs two moments: your birth time (Personality) and the point ~88° of Sun motion earlier (Design). The engine computes both automatically at 2 credits a call.

Mid-conversation

No app to open, no form to fill. You're already talking to your assistant — now it can draw your bodygraph while you talk.

Your birth data never trains a model

Birth details are used to run the calculation, then discarded. We don't sell them, share them, or feed them to anyone.

The math under the bodygraph

Human Design is only as good as its astronomy. OpenEphemeris computes every gate and line from the NASA JPL DE440 ephemeris kernel — the sub-arcsecond planetary data used in professional astronomy, valid from 1550 to 2650 CE. The Personality chart is cast for your birth moment; the Design chart is placed at the exact instant the Sun had travelled 88° of arc earlier, not an approximate 88-day offset — so activations sitting near a gate boundary resolve to the correct hexagram line. Both sets of positions are returned together, every call.

Every account runs on a credit wallet. A Human Design chart costs 2 credits; the interactive bodygraph adds a small visual charge. Subscribe for a monthly credit allowance, or top up a one-time wallet — credits never expire either way.

Questions

How accurate is the bodygraph?
Every gate and line comes from the NASA JPL DE440 ephemeris kernel — the same sub-arcsecond planetary data used in professional astronomy. The Design chart is placed at the exact moment the Sun had moved 88° of arc before birth, not an approximate 88-day offset, so gate activations near a boundary resolve correctly.
What birth data does Claude need?
A birth date and time, ideally to the minute — Human Design is time-sensitive and a defined center can flip within minutes. Latitude and longitude are optional for the core chart but sharpen the houses and the Design calculation. Give Claude the time in UTC, or tell it the place and it can convert.
Is my birth data stored?
No. Your birth details are passed to the calculation, used to compute the chart, and discarded — they are not retained, sold, or used to train any model. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
Does it work on free Claude plans?
Custom connectors on Claude.ai require a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise). On the free Claude plan, use Claude Desktop with the config below — it connects the same tools with no Claude subscription. Either way, your OpenEphemeris Explorer account is free.
What is a bodygraph?
The bodygraph is the visual chart at the heart of Human Design: nine centers connected by 36 channels made of 64 gates. Which centers are colored in (defined) versus open (undefined) determines your Type, Strategy, and Authority. Our engine draws the whole thing as an SVG right in the conversation.
Which Human Design tools can Claude call?
The interactive explorer (explore_human_design), the full data chart (human_design_chart), transits over your design (explore_human_design_transit), relationship connections (explore_human_design_connection), composite and Penta group charts (human_design_composite, human_design_penta), and HD planetary returns (hd_planetary_return) — alongside the full OpenEphemeris astrology surface.
